Biography

One of Australia’s best-loved, intelligent and in-demand entertainers, Mikey Robins is well-known both on TV and radio thanks to his clever observations, quick one-liners and brilliant, biting banter.

He was much loved host of triple j’s national breakfast show with Helen Razer and has worked for ABC radio, Vega and Triple M; co-hosted Studio 10 and You Have Been Watching and regularly appears as a guest on Sunrise, Spicks and Specks and Today. As team leader on Good News Week he was an audience favourite, and thanks to his tremendous popularity Mikey’s Australian Story remains one the highest rating episodes of the show.

A highpoint in Mikey’s personal life and career was being given the honour of MCing for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet’s public talk in Sydney.

Mikey’s third book, Seven Deadly Sins and One Very Naughty Fruit: a history of culinary oddities will be published by Simon & Schuster in November 2018.
