Hannie Rayson, is one of Australia’s best-loved playwrights. She is the multi-award winning author of 16 plays, including Hotel Sorrento, Inheritance, Two Brothers, Life After George and Extinction.
Her plays have been produced in major theatre companies in Australia and overseas. Hotel Sorrento was made into a feature film.
Hannie is the only author ever to have been nominated for The Miles Franklin Award for a play.
Hannie writes columns for The Age and works happily in the theatre, film, TV and literary worlds.
She adapted her best-selling memoir Hello, Beautiful! to a stage play and performed her one-woman show around Australia.
She is currently working on a TV series.
