Caroline van de Pol is a writer and author of the memoir Back to Broady. She is a university lecturer in media and communication at Deakin University. She has a PhD in creative writing from the University of Woollongong and her articles and creative work have appeared in journals including Text, Mascara and New Writing.
Caroline has worked as a journalist and editor for newspapers and magazines and has published two non-fiction health books. Caroline grew up in Broadmeadows, Melbourne and now lives in regional Victoria.
