Caroline Moore is the apron-wearing Program Director of the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Aprons have been her attire of choice for much of this century as the pockets are handy and she constantly draws the analogy that she is always cooking up something other than food. She has worked in the arts for more than 30 years in both Australia and the UK, producing multi art form events and festivals for Melbourne & Edinburgh Fringe, MIJF, MIF and so on. Her career to date has been a joyous and unpredictable sojourn through life with constants being music, visual arts, theatre, literature and a particular focus on social justice and pushing boundaries.
She is happily married, a mother of a University student. Loves the thought of gardening and makes a mighty fine mess of renovating. Thank goodness she has the festival to excuse her poor house-keeping.
