Edith Wright is Bardi from the Dampier Peninsula north of Broome in Western Australia.
She has extensive experience in education across two sectors and continues to be involved in research in Conductive Hearing Loss and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder to improve education outcomes for Indigenous students.
Full Circle is her first biography published by Fremantle Arts Centre Press in 2001.
Her interests have moved from literacy to literature and she is currently a Director on the board of Magabala Books.
In 2018 she moved to Lara, Victoria, with her family and continues to support schools with their Reconciliation Action Plan as well as find time to write.
